While it would be nice that the AccessGrid community got routine updates via Twitter, it would take someone to maintain regular updates on a @AccessGrid account - where as anyone can throw up information (including the AccessGrid website directly to twitter via the #AccessGrid hashtag about stuff, including meetings, etc. Think of @AccessGrid the equivalent of a mini-Facebook page. In fact, i don't usually bother posting on my Facebook page i link the two and simply tweet and it goes on my Facebook page.

Subject: Re: [AG-TECH] Twitter stream for AG
Just a thought - is accessgrid too long of a name? I suspect that AG is taken - I'll have a look and report back.
Post by Julia MullenGood Morning Everyone!
Is there a Twitter group/hash symbol for the AG? If so, what is it? If not, what would we like it to be?
I don't think there is one already - googling for "twitter accessgrid" doesn't come up with much. #accessgrid seems the obvious name if someone were to create an AG twitter account. Are you offering to do that and monitor/maintain it? It'd be great if you could.
